San Francisco - My favorite local spots!

Beetlenut
Beetlenutis by far my FAVORITE restaurant of all time! Truly outstanding Pan Asian cuisine. This is a place you do not want to miss out on when visiting the city! Ben and my first date was here, and we went back too many times to count during the time we were together while I lived in San Fran! Great service, amazing atmosphere and delicious drinks too. The Karma Sutra drink is a must to get while here, and it comes with a flower too! :)

Hotel Vitale
"Modern, urbane, fresh, revitalizing, and nurturing."
The hotel is located on the revitalized Embarcadero Waterfront and the Financial District of San Francisco. It over looks the bay bridge and it is even a putting green on the roof of the hotel! It is one of the most luxurious and modern hotels I have ever stayed in.

The Redwood Room at the Clift Hotel
The Redwood Room is one of the most posh but friendly places I have been to! It is an amazing place to visit at night but beware, the drinks are pretty pricy so it is the type of place you would go for a special cocktail with a friend or a good spot to start off the night!

Embarcadero Center Holiday Ice Rink
If  you are in San Fran around winter time, you must check out the outdoor rink! It is too much fun to ice skate in a tee-shirt under palm trees. There are skates for rent and they are not too expensive. It is right in the middle of the shopping district as well so it is a great break from your Christmas shopping. :)

I loved how the advice above so perfectly fit with how I have been trying to remend so many broken relationships I have caused in my life. I am trying hard to put more effort and love into the beautiful souls I am so blessed to call my family and friends instead of ignoring all the AMAZING people I have in my life! I am trying to go deeper... no, I am not just "trying" I WILL and CHOOSE to go deeper into these relationships and impact my close friends and family for the better on a daily basis! To give rather than to receive and be the type of friend I want.

Vegan, Raw Vegan, P90X plus

Mimi Kirk was voted the sexiest vegetarian against many younger than her at over 72! She is raw vegan and seems like she knows the fountain of youth. Here is Mimi's youtube full of great recipes:

YUM! I am going to make this tomorrow! The recipe is here:

Another great vegan recipe blog! http://healthyblenderrecipes.com/recipes/raw_vegan_blueberry_blast_smoothie/

I have to get the 80-10-10 book tomorrow because there is a SPECIFIC way to eat fruits and veggies together!

I just made a huge salad, with a dash of olive oil and garlic pepper (no fresh garlic yet!) and some water to the greens. I added a few cherry tomotos too! :) Then, I made a wonderful smoothie with spinach, a bag of frozen berries, lemon juice sqeezed (about half a lemon) and a 3rd of a bannana. It was great! We will see how to properly get all my calories and not restrict them tomorrow after I read that book. :)
I am beyound excited to keep going at this. To not give up. To amaze myself. To see results. To be proud. To turn to meditation, yoga, excercise, healthy food, volunteer, friends, writing, upliftnig music, dance, take a walk in nature, read a wonderful book, take a bubble bath, write a card or letter to a friend or family member telling them how much I love and appreciate them, light incense, to do photography, to learn French, INSTEAD of turning to crappy food, caffeine, ect. to give me a boost when feeling low. RAW IS THE WAY I CHOSE.
MY LIFE CHOICE.
LET THIS BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY BEGIN! :)

Why I love France

Wow. I watched the movie Sicko today in class and it made my heart ache to live in Paris once again. Perhaps someday. Free and amazing health care, free and amazing schooling, people who take pleasure in the little things, and realize the more crap you aquire doesn't mean more happiness and the most gorgeous language... what a beautiful place.
